The batteries have capacities of 158Wh and 220Wh, each weighing about 1kg. We recommend using a PD3.0 65W charger to charge from the rear port of the PikaBoost, which takes only 3 hours to fully charge.
Range will vary depending on riding mode, rider weight, bike type, road conditions, and riding habits. Under normal conditions, a 158Wh battery in assist mode allows riding up to 50km (31 miles). With the optional 220Wh replacement battery, the riding range can be extended to 70km (43 miles).
Please note: If the battery overheats, current will be limited to help it cool down, which can affect range.
