PikaBoost 2 weighs about 3kg and provides assistance through friction with the bicycle tire. The tire formula is designed for a lifespan of 3,000–5,000km, suitable for bike tires with widths between 25–65mm.
The bike must have a round seatpost with a diameter between 25mm–35mm. The motor is capable of delivering 500W peak power, but in most cases, output power is automatically adjusted based on riding mode, road conditions, and other factors.
Under normal circumstances, the top speed is 24km/h; in some regions and in Private Road mode, the maximum speed can reach 32km/h (20mph).
For uphill riding, we recommend first giving the bike a bit of initial speed, then using PikaBoost’s assist — you will find it noticeably easier. If starting uphill from a standstill, since assistance only starts at speeds above 5km/h, the assist effect will be less pronounced.
