Why isn’t the motor wheel making proper contact or staying aligned with my bike tire?

First, please make sure the PikaBoost installation process was carried out correctly. One possible reason for this issue is that the motor was not lifted to the highest position before installation. If this step is skipped, the motor will not have enough downward travel to press firmly against the tire after installation. Therefore, before installing, please ensure you use the “Lift Up” function in the app to raise the motor to its highest position.

Secondly, please check whether your bicycle has rear suspension. We do not recommend using the device on bicycles with rear suspension, as it can cause the rear wheel to move up and down when riding over uneven surfaces, which may eventually lead to the device slipping off.
